I don't post much, do I
Jul. 12th, 2007 11:01 pmSo lets see...
-Saw Harry Potter tonight. They did a good job especially considering how long the book is.
-Saw Transformers last week. They did a decent job on it. There are parts that I could possibly pick apart...but the film is too enjoyable for me to want to.
-I bought Paper Mario recently (bought it when I went to see Transformers). They do give some interesting puzzles that make use of the special abilities you acquire during gameplay. They also include stuff do to besides the main quest just to keep you busy (collect cards, play arcade games, go through the dungeon of 100 trials as well as the harder version in flopside, etc.).
-I have been slowly going through the new content in Kingdom of Loathing. I am still debating whether the level 11 quest (Quest for the Holy MacGuffin) or the level 12 quest ("Make War, Not... Oh, Wait") is longer. On the one hand, the level 11 quest requires going to a lot of places and doing a lot of things (at one point the quest breaks into 4 sub-quest, each which can be done in < 100 adventures assuming you have the appropriate zones already unlocked). On the other hand, the level 12 quest has you starting and ending a war between orcish frat boys and hippies. Each army is 1001 units strong and unless you do the sidequests, its 1 kill per adventure (each side quest doubles the kills per adventure for the side the quest is done on). It doesn't help that I am planning on killing off both armies (so I have done half the sidequest for one side and half for the other). All I know is that ascensions take that much longer and that I am glad I already have all my plexiglass given the changes to the bounty hunter.
Thats more or less what I have been doing of late.
