so 99 apples taste like burning, some more burning, followed by an afterthought of apple. Still rather good, and I think it would do well in a mixed drink. All I know is the after effect does last awhile ;)

O.M.G. I bought 99 Blackberries once, thinking "Mmm, blackberry flavoured alcohol!" I then tasted it. It tasted like PAIN. Like, instead of alcohol flavoured with the concentrated sweet goodness of blackberries, it was alcohol flavoured with the bitter concentrated acid of blackberries. They managed to keep all the PAIN and left out almost all the tastey bits. I did use the rest of the bottle in mixed drinks, but never used more than a capfull (half a teaspoon or so) in a single drink, as any more than that and all you tasted was PAIN.
