Did the Renaissance Festival today. Hung out with Kyo, her cousin? (I am really bad with names), her friend Momo, Andrew, and Roger. It was fun. Also saw Dave, Teresa, A---, and two people I recognized from Anizona that Kyo knows (again, the bad with names).

I got to see The Tortuga Twins, which I've apparently missed the other times I've been there. Of the 3 shows of theirs I saw, liked the Big Bad Wolf one the best (well the last one had the R-rated jokes, it didn't have a hot woman participant playing the grandma).

I also got to see one of the jousts. Didn't like it too much this time around because of how obviously fake it was (one of the jousters forgot to fall off after getting hit, then through himself off his horse a few seconds later).

As for shopping, I didn't find anything I wanted. Of the steel items, what swords I did see were obviously of the display/ceremonial type. If I am to pay the money for a sword, I want it to be real (albeit dull because I don't want to hurt myself or others with one accidentally). As for leather items, I didn't want to pay those prices for a decent looking helm (well not unless it would complete a costume), and I didn't see any full armor or even chest/shoulders combos (there might of been, but most leather shops seem to only have belts with only one or two having those helms as well as boots). As for anything cloth, I could probably get someone in THEM (like Elfling) to make me what I would want (which I am not even sure of what I would want) for cheaper than what the stores were charging.

Now to wait for laundry to finish, then go to bed.
