In reverse order...
-Just started the dishwasher. It was my turn to do dishes, so I did. Btw, rotting food in a pot can almost make me vomit when it cleaned out (that and the drain with the garbage disposal wasn't draining because stuff had been left in there: leaving a nice sewery smell when I turned it on).
-I bought Quake 4 and Mario Kart DS. Haven't played either yet (going to start installing Quake after this post).
-Stopped by my parent's house on my way home from work. Ended up staying for dinner. My dad was watching Ghosts of Mars (he had Tivo'd it for kicks). It was one of those possesion type horrors where the posessed go on killing rampages. In otherwords, it was bad (about the only good killing possesed horror movie type I've seen was the evil dead 1&2, just because they were so cheesy).
-Went in to work today. I was expecting to take some time to first calculate the changes to a matrix that determines the scaling and translation needed to center an arbitrary brain in the right scale (the code I have been modifying originally used only one brain, with these numbers hardcoded). I go looking through the code to find where I need to make the change and I find that the matrix is already given to me as header information for each brain (making it one line of code to put in). So I spent the rest of my time playing with the now working aribitrary cut mechanism on both normalized and unnormalized brains (the cuts are done by specifying a condtional statement on what coordinate values to show; hence the importance of knowing where the origin is as well as the scaling).
-Found out Christi is going to have surgery sooner than expected. You can see hers or Carlos's lj for details.

Re: dishes

I got next. Well, unless I'm visiting the hospital or something.

And when Im well I'm gonna start helping too. Y'all can't keep dishes sitting out for so long. I know that's always been a problem you've had, but Kris does it too.

I think setting up a set dishwasher schedule and taking turns and sticking to it will do all of us good. The waiting to see who finally gets around to it rotation like we've been doing isn't working too well :(
