made some progress on the plug-in thingy I am suppose to be writing for SPM for the research grant I'm on. I can now load a segmented brain image (well only the white or gray matter) and display it with an arbitrary cut. Now to figure out how to pad the volume in matlab (so the isoval will return closed volumes instead of ones open on the borders), as well as how to do the normilisation stuff. To bad that and the other stuff I need to do to it will have to wait till November, when I am not overloaded with class stuff like...

-Project 1 for my statistical pattern recognition class(due Oct 25). Will probably be using Hidden Markov Models.
-Midterm for my statistical pattern recognition class (Oct 27).
-Homework for my Math class (due Oct 31).
-Midterm for my CAGD course (takehome midterm, due Nov 1).
-Homework for my statistical pattern recognition class (due Nov 1).

Note to self - You are a graduate student. Its okay to audit courses. It is suggested that you audit courses like statistical pattern recognition in the future, especially when the grad students you know are auditing instead of taking for credit.

On a side note, Tuesday we are going to be discussing MultiLayer Neural Networks in statistical pattern recognition.
