-Was cleaning my room some this weekend (mainly because I am moving out either this weekend or next). Got under the bed cleaned (other than vacuuming) as well as cleaned off my window seat. What is left is my desk, followed by picking up the pile in the middle of my room (which is mainly things that belong under the bed or in the closet). After that, its boxing time.
-I hate how I procrastinate just about everything. I meant to go see Phantom of the Opera at Gammage. Kept telling myself, I am going to go see it some weekday after work (and get the student discount). Well, I missed out because I kept putting it off. Really need to work on that bad habit (especially since I rented the film version of Phantom of the Opera this weekend and was really wanting to see the play).
-Monday was fun to get out of the house. The party at Teresa's was fun. We might be nerds if...we do a jigsaw puzzle at a party. Makes me want to pull out some of my old jigsaw puzzles (if we still have them) and bring one or two to a reconvene.
-Talking to one of the Professors up here yesterday. This lack of a grant to put me for fall is somewhat normal. I also got from her assurances that they will try to get something to work to be able to keep me on (it is always good to know that they want to keep me around).
Present...
-Smoothing out poser bodies is so much "fun". I am working on the 57 year old George and have to pay particular attention to to lower body because of the clothing it (it is a unisex body, thank god) will be wearing (from fitting stockings and boots I recall). You know you have never lived until you had to smooth a poser ass (pass the eye scrub please).
Future (well immediate future)...
-History channel will be back here for more shooting at the end of July. This might delay us leaving for Siggraph by a day. We originally planned for July 28th (Thursday) to August 5th (Friday) for Siggraph but not be able to get out till Friday.
-After that there is Hexacon August 5th to the 7th. Don't know if I will show up on Friday (the whole just drove back from LA thing), but I do plan on being there.
Future (long term)...
-Take over the world (well let someone else do the hard work than make them a figurehead).
