things of late

njordsifusansooHot water heater broke on Sunday. The insurance we have said (when my parents got it) that their call center is open 24/7 but is not. They said they guaranteed same day service. My mom called Monday, they weren't able to come till Tuesday. They had to come back yesterday to fix a leak in the new one (I think something just might of not been tightened down right since this took < hour to fix). Cold showers are o so "fun".
My parents left Wednesday (yesterday) morning for a family reunion in Colorado. They are leaving to come back here next Wednesday (by car, so they will probably be back early Thursday). So its just me, the dog, the cat, and my brother at home.
I worked this weekend on George Washington stuff. Got to use my program to resize one of the bodies that was the wrong size. Since the head was the right size (head came from actual scans while body started off as a poser model), we had to not scale the head (something my program can do). After that, it was tweaking the 57yr old body (other people were working on the other models) to make it more accurate (since poser bodies are not accurate in some areas). Spent alot of time tweaking the legs since this model will be dressed in clothing appropriate for this time (form fitting stockings and the like).
Because of how much I worked on that (some of Saturday, all of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday), I decided to take yesterday off (I might take tomorrow off as well). My latest WoW twink (a tauren druid) went from lvl 12 (about to go to x-roads) to lvl 17 with both the cure poison and water form quest done (going to do the harpy killing line then its off to stonetalon and ashenvale). This is my herbalism twink so my main can get his Thorium Brotherhood faction up by doing this quest. I recall I only need around 600ish kingsblood to get to friendly.
