just got finished playing an Alterac Valley Game (that completed). Is it any suprise us Horde won. I learned that most of the generic guards and the such that are up in enemy territories will always respawn (only the stuff in towers and that guard graveyards go away). This could make it interesting going back to the base camp to turn stuff in. I must say that burning down the last two towers is a rather difficult task given that the last alliance gy is right there, and both towers are within bowshot range for the tower archers (not to mention that the towers are crawling with lvl 61 warriors mobs who open with charge and some owls who see past stealth). It took us a few trys, but we eventually got one down on our third summon of our big guy (btw, he takes forever to leave the center). From there, we just kept pressing our attack and took the other tower. Then it slowed down a bit to take their last gy, but we eventually got it (taking the base was "fun" since the lvl 60-61 guards and the harder lvl 55ish merchants have quick respawns). Once we contested their last gy (take down their flag but still waiting the 5 minutes before it becomes ours), we started on the boss. Well that took a bit, seeing as how we had their last gy and they were contesting the gy on the other side of the bridge when we beat him. Now I am nearly friendly with frost wolves and still have one more quest to turn in (one that can only be turned in in the instance).
Now to wait till tomorrow to see how much contribution points I got for the 800+ raid kills and the victory.

Date: 2005-06-08 11:20 am (UTC)I have to admit that Battlegrounds was worth the wait. They did a lot of good things in this patch, and I'm happy. Also it's sooooo nice to actually be able to walk through Tarren Mill again! Also, I LOVELOVE the Wand Autoshoot! Holy crapola, how did I ever live without it?
I wont be able to really get into BG until I get back to AZ and on my stable net connection.
