I was traveling across e.plaguelands today (was oging to work on my argent dawn faction some) when out of the blue I get a tell for a 5 man scholo group. Yeah for random groupage (especially since it turned out to be a decent group). We ended up kiling a few of the bosses, including the butcher (which some of us including me needed for a quest) as well as getting all 4 barov deeds. Furthermore, I got my shadowcraft boots (rogue set) off one of the bosses we killed as well as got my argent dawn faction far enough through friendly that I can no longer gain faction from the stuff in w.plaguelands (still haven't checked the last field or e.plaguelands). Then when I went to the ah to put up the greens I won, I saw the shadowcraft belt with a buyout of 65g (normally on my server the buyout for that belt is around 100-300g). So now I have 2 pieces of the set, am closer to being abel to see and use the caer darrow merchants (killing the buthcer is the start of the quest lien for that) and I am about 2/3 to 3/4 through friendly with argent dawn. It was a good day for me in WoW.

i'm getting dragged down in the middle 20's level wise, this is my second char. i ditched the first one at about lvl 20 and decided to go horde. I'm at 16 right now, just finished the ravenholdt quest. i need to group more, i'd get a lot further i think. its just wierd for me to group with non guild people.

Its more about learning where the quest are than anything else for ease of solo leveling. For horde your lvl (16 right), you are basically going to be in either undead territory (which has some hard parts solo-wise) or barrens (which has more easier quests but is also a lot of running around (bigger zone)). Don't forget to try and get instance groups for wailing caverns (in the barrens) at 20ish (its what the horde gets instead of deadmines). Then for your early 20s, there are some quest in southern barrens, ashenvale (mainly zoram'gar outpost on the coast), some of tarren mill, and stonetalon (well stonetalon quest start off before 20, but I usually skip some of those). Mid-high 20s is splintertree in Ashenvale (remember to do the one supply quest there that nets you and easy blue), tm, the dorfs in southern barrens (track down gann who walks along the road down there to get quests), plus bfd and razorfen crawl for instances). Your 30s are going to be desolace (horde town is on the sw coast), thousand needles (its south of barrens), some of stranglethorn (remember horde has flightpaths in both grom'gol and booty bay), and arathi highlands.

ashenvale and tm are your best bet for soloable quest. Then you can hit say the dorfs in southern barrens at around 27/28 on your way to freewind post in thousand needles (it's what I did with my hunter alt who is now 28).

rouge, i was hanging around thousand needles a lot to get to 26, the problem is that all the people that quest a lot in my guild are all in thier 40's so i either have to hang back till some peopel get to my level and jump in with them, or try and jump up considerably.

i'll try southern barrens though, i forgot about there.

I'm pretty close to friendly with AD. I've only gone to Stratholme once (last night) and never been to Scholomance. I just hit 60 a couple nights ago. I got pretty luck when I went to strat. My first run and the Beaststalker's boots dropped.
I might be joining a group for Molten Core tonight. O_o We'll see how that goes.
