I suppose I should pimp AniZona for those on my lj that don't already know about it. To quote the main page...

"AniZona is the first Anime convention located in the sunny state of Arizona! We are proud to announce the three day event that will take place March 25-27, 2005, at the Embassy Suites Phoenix North hotel"

There are going to be speakers, cosplay, art, amvs, etc. After all, its an anime convention.

Also, take a look at the special guest list, which includes Yoshitaka Amano (his site is www.amanosworld.com)

In other words, if you are into anime, you know you want to go.
