post about my classes
Jan. 21st, 2005 06:17 pmCSE 457, Theory of Formal Language with Faltz - This class is sounding like it will be a fun one. The very low student numbers and well as the laid back teacher gives it a lax feeling.
CSE 412, Databases with Davulcu - not sure on this course. There is a group project that we should have our groups for by Tuesday. However, I know I am going to learn a lot of useful stuff in this course.
CSE 463, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) with Turban - This class is going to keep me busy. We have something due everyweek (except the first week), sometimes 2 things. There is a group project as well as individual projects. The projects should be interesting since the emphasis is not on if it works right, but on how useable the interface is.
ECE 400, Engineering Communications with Cesiel - Other than the horrible hours (6:15pm-7:30 MW), this shouldn't be that bad of a course. I recall it is a writing/speaking course (fullfils a Literacy credit) that is required for the major. What I learn in here should be useful in grad. school and the real world.
PHY 361, Intro to Modern Physics - The first 2 days we went over general realitivity and are breaking into special relativity. This could be an easy course or it could be hard, depends on how quickly I catch onto the new stuff.
All I know is this should be a rather interesting semester.

ECE 400: Hated it.
PHY 361: That was fun. A lot of work for what was a tech elective to me.
