I just didn't get an assignment all the way done (its a build on the previous assignment so it works, just doesn't have all the new functionality). Apparently, the debugger for .Net thinks that string.Substring does not exist while intellisence (the thing that lets you autocomplete functions), the compiler, and the help file all says it does. I would think that it was just me forgetting to include the library, but it wouldn't compile if I was (that and the examples in help were only using System, which I was using as well).

GRRAAAARRR...
If I wasn't playing through the more calming parts of the Kingdom Hearts Soundtrack, I might of broken soemthing.

Its .Net. Microsoft has to make their products screwy. They realized that if they didn't the combined productivity of geek kind would destroy the world, and that damages Microsoft's profit margin.

Wouldn't suprise me if that is one of those undocumented bugs or something of the like (I know of a few in Visual Studio 6).
