rushing, rushing to get my project for Operating Systems done before it is due tonight at midnight, and then see this on the discussion boards...

The real goal of the project is for you to learn how to synchronize threads. So here's the deal:

If you're done and submitting the final version on Wednesday, great! No need to read on.

Otherwise, with some conditions, you can have until 3:00pm, Saturday October 16th (since there will be a myASU outage later that day). Here is what you must do if you want the extension:

1) You must still submit your project (just the code) in its current state on Wednesday. If you've made a serious attempt, then the TA will mark what you hand in on *Saturday*. Otherwise, he will mark what you hand in on Wednesday. This will be at my discretion.

2) If you submit both on Wednesday and Saturday, and the one marked is the Saturday one, a 2 point (out of 20, i.e., 10%) penalty will be assessed.

If you submit your project Saturday without submitting anything on Wednesday, you'll get no credit.

Given that it is now midnight, and something in my reading in input or outputting output is not working (I probably need another semaphore to block the main when outputting the matrix), this is a good thing (and yes, I got what I have done submitted before midnight).

Now to go to bed, then get up early and get as much of my networking homework thats due tomorrow done. I hate how busy October is schoolwise (next week is more hell as is probably the week after).
