an update and stuff

njordsifusansoowell my reasearch assistant postion is not that bad. 11-3 M-F are my hours. For one of the projects I'm on, currently just cutting 3d pictures down to faces. For the other porject, I am changing someones program so that it will read in a particularly formatted .dat file (I think I am reading it in correctly, just not sure how to get it to output correctly). This ain't that bad of a job for $7.50 an hour (and something that will look good on a resume).
Yesterday was interesting by the way because of who came and visited the lab. We had the Arizona Board of Regents here (you know ABOR). Gave me a small break near the end of my shift where I sat in front of the secretary's phone (she had to be about when the regents arrive) in case it rang. It did not so all I did was web-browse for about an hour.
Other things going on could be everquest. Yes I still play that old game, but only on guild raid nights (about 4 hours on Tues. and Thurs.). Both on Tues. and Thurs. we killed the Manaetic Behemoth with little difficulty (and I survived the second fight). So now I am Tactics flagged finally, and only have Grummus left for getting the tier 1 flags.
Would probably come up with more to say for an update but well its 3, so I am now off of work and want to get home to eat before roleplaying tonight.
