I got bored so wrote an update

I am liking my research assistant position more and more everyday. Besides it not being that difficult yet (I am just cropping 3d pictures of people's head down to their face), they are more than willing to work with any difficulties I have. I expressed a need to find another job for the summer since 10 hours a week won't be enough, and my boss is having me help out with another project for an additional 10 hours a week. For this, I think I am starting with modifying a piece of code to work slightly differently, then maybe be given some algorithms to code (which shouldn't be too hard since most algorithms are pretty straightforward to code).
And for a related topic, it looks like the brickyard is going to get more security. Yesterday, there was a fire while I was there (it was odd because the fire alarm was not set off) and apparently one after I left. Today, there were people in the elevator taking peoples names as they got in (apparently they have not found who was responsible for the fires yet). Talking to the secretary where I work, there will be security guards checking ASU IDs come tuesday. Don't know how long this will last, but my guess is until they install security cameras if they are going to install them. All I know is it should be interesting.

O well, nows its time for me to be off to my weekly roleplaying.
