njordsifusansoolast night roleplaying I did something that was world altering (on a grand scale). To give a hint for those who are familiar with the Rifts setting, imagine what the rifts world would be like if during the great cataclysm (the coming of rifts) Death (as in Death of the Four Horsemen of Apolycalypse) showed up outside of chicago instead of appearing in Africa sometime after the coming of rifts. Thanks to a sealed scroll I opened, that is what literatly happened. Oh Chi-town is still there, but its not the Coalition of States. In fact the only known cities on North America are Chi-town, Lazlo, and Psi-scape. The magic zone (the Fedaration of magic never existed) is known as the dead zone, and it is the domain of War and Death (only two of the horsemen are over here).
Currently we are deciding what exactly to do. We can just leave it as is and see if theses temporal changes means we are no longer wanted in the Three Galaxies (we are only charged with mass genocide there), explore this new world and hope any of those beings who will know I was responsible doesn't want me to pay (or hope to run into those who like the changes I have caused), or try an correct what has happened. My character with a obsession to destroy death mages and the ilk is prompting to raze an army here, bring it back to an earlier time (I can travel back through time), and defeat Death before he came to his full power (and War joined him). To think we were going to do something small (fight in the Tolkien wars) before I opened that scroll.
