spring break in brief

Here is a semi-brief summary of what I did.

FFX-2 : started it, got caught up in sidequest and only got to chapter 2. This is going to be one of those games I will probably draw out for a couple of months.

.hack/Quarantine : started it and have done about 3-4 dungeons. Want to play more, but since I didn't start it till midweek, I'm out of time to play. Will probably squeeze time in for it during weekends.

haircut/oil change/car wash (aka stuff I needed to get out of the way while I had the time) : did all this junk on Thursday.

Everquest : met my goal of 63 barely (if I take an exp death, I loose lvl). Thats ok since I did spend some time doing some of the 5th anniversary events (got my 2 oldest characters their fireworks rods (nagefen's of course)). If I had more time and a few more levels, I would see about getting some of that fabled stuff (heard the guy who drops fabled jboots only hits for 150, has around 6k hps, and ht; barely outside of my monk's solo range (I can take mobs that hit for 130 that have around 6k hps with some difficulty).

write a resume : didn't get too it. Probably going to find time sometime I'm at school and see what templates they have (I am totally lost on how to write one of these, but I know its one of those things I just need to start so it gets done).

read a book : started book 8 of the wheel of time series. currently about half way through it. Depending on freetime in which to read, might be done with it in the next week or two.

see a movie : went on saw Agent Cody Banks 2 with E-Chan. Not that bad of a movie for a kid movie. comments: Why wasn't summer camp like that when I was a kid. I want that flashlight. Mentos anyone.

homework : was never a real goal but seeing has how I have 2 assignments due Monday, and two more due Tuesday, something that needs doing. The monday stuff ain't too bad since its the daily type homework (both the classes give homework for virtually every day we have class), but the Tuesday stuff consist of a 1-2 page paper (excusable since it was originally due the Tuesday before spring break) and some proof and application stuff (I think the teacher said this was an extra homework we can use to replace another homework grade but not sure) which will be eating up my monday lunch break. O how I hate homework.


Concluding remarks:
Spring break was waay to short. barely had time to start what I wanted to do, and finished virtually none of it. Nonetheless, still had fun.

I know the homework situation all too well... I had a paper and a take home test assigned over the break for the same class on top of everything else. I want to scream at that old windbag (no not Cobas; thankfully no papers in Stats).

I put it all off way too long since I thought I would have no problem getting it done today... but my cold took a turn for the worst which caused my skills of concentration to go to hell in a handbasket, and I had a house guest to entertain until around 3pm today that I hadn't planned on so it looks like I'll be doing it all tomorrow before class.

Spring break homework, I don't even know why I pretend I'll do it. Huge project I have been putting off for a month now and I have only worked on it for a few hours this break. And I was here wasting time since Wednesday. I have all of Monday to put some work into it. Here's hoping for a D.

And look for a job, something else I didn't get around to this spring break. I need another week.
