Next, let me talk about my odd dream from last night (its the nearest thing to a nightmare I have had in several years). I was walking around a neighborhood similar to the one I used to live in as a young kid with a bunch of people I knew. We came across a tormented spirit (ghost) that was wallowing in suffering, looking like it needed some help. At first we did not think the lady was a ghost, but she was ghastly pail, seemed to move without walking, and had an unatural presence about her (the feeling of being around the supernatural). Also, in her complaining, she specifically referred to events as happening when she was alive. Her torment had something to do with er still living husband. We offered to help, and she lead us to the back yard of her and her husband's residence. When we got there, she a wheel from a cabinet, as well as a board, and put the wheel on one end of the board (something in which you can put something on top of the board and wheel it around by holding the other end of the board). Then she mentioned something about needing this thing she made to be brought to her grave, as well as her husband to do something to put her soul at rest. I agree to help and take the thing she made and wheel it to the back gate. Then her husband comes out to see what is happening in his backyard. The ghost had dissapeared by this time and it is then that I noticed my friends has all progressively slipped away or something since we went into the backyard (which is odd since I would normally notice when they leave). Her husband is angry that I was in his backyard, so I try and explain what I was doing back there (truthfully of course). He takes the story about his wife's ghost as balderdash, but comes along anyways, just in case it might be true. Well the trip to the graveyard seemed short (my dream fastforwarded to it), it has gone from mid-day to twighlight (there is still enough light to see by, but not more). When we get to her grave, we see her ghost, which before our eyes seems to take on a new shape. Then suddenly I am on the plank with a wheel I brought with the "husband" standing over me. In the split second my eyes were off the husband while suddenly ending up on the plank, he had assumed a demon form (ram horns, yellow skin and eyes as well as increased bulk, but still contained in his human clothing and of humanish height). It was then that I realized that the ghost's new form was also that of a demon (I should of realized something wasn't making sense when the ghost which was suppose to be incorporeal had physically picked up a plank and wheel to put them together). The "husband" was holding a sacrificial dagger over me but I was not really that scared (I consciously knew there was a way out) as I entered into split second decision making mode. Then the dream ended. This was odd in itself since I can usually stay in dreams after letting my conscious take over (its how I can control and manipulate my own dreams consciously and also why I don't have nightmares, I don't allow myself to).

That was definaly an odd dream for me (I don't normally dream about supernatural evil). However, me being the roleplayer I am, I have thought it to be a perfect story to use for a possible Mage: The Ascension character I have been wanting to play. If I make the end be where magic suddenly erupts from within me, driving away or destroying the demons, I can make it be the story about how my character's awakening. Either way, that was still and odd dream.

Now back to writing my paper on Spider-man.

Spider-man, Spider-man
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size
Catches thieves, just like flies
Look out! Here comes the Spider-man!
Is he strong? Listen, Bud!
He's got radioactive blood.
Can he swing from a thread?
Take a look overhead.
Hey there, there goes the Spider-man!
In the chill of night,
At the scene of the crime
Like a streak of light
He arrives just in time
Spider-man, Spider-man
Friendly neighborhood Spider-man
Wealth and fame, he's ignored
Action is his reward
To him, life is a great big bang-up
Wherever there's a hang-up
You'll find the Spider-man!
